Elisa Harca co-founded Red Ant Asia in 2012, establishing the business across Hong Kong and Shanghai and building it from the ground up into one of Asia's most awarded China marketing agencies. Holding a First Class Honours degree in Business from Aston University, she brings both academic grounding and entrepreneurial drive to everything she does. Before Red Ant, Elisa built her career across New York and London — launching her own events and fashion company before taking on senior roles at leading digital agencies including glue London and Digitas. Today, as Asia CEO, she is the strategic force behind Red Ant's growth, helping global brands connect with Chinese consumers through creativity, cultural insight and the power of social influence — across platforms including Xiaohongshu, Douyin and WeChat. A former Vice Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong Luxury and Retail Committee, Elisa remains a recognised voice in the industry and is a regular contributor to publications including Jing Daily, WWD, WGSN, Retail in Asia, Campaign Asia and the SCMP.

Linda Yu

Linda Yu has been part of the Red Ant story since the very beginning, joining as the first hire in the Shanghai office in 2012. With a BA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Shanghai International Studies University, she brings rare cultural fluency to her role as General Manager — overseeing the day-to-day operations of a team of almost 30 people at the agency's China HQ. Before Red Ant, Linda built an impressive career in journalism, serving as Senior Editor across respected titles including the Global Times, Oriental Morning Post, The Bund and Time Out. That editorial eye and deep understanding of Chinese culture informs everything Red Ant delivers — from creative campaign development and influencer strategy to content and social commerce. Her relationships, insight and on-the-ground expertise have earned her genuine respect across the industry — so much so that many of the global brands she works with consider her a KOC in her own right.
